Application
- Box Copra Dryer is used to dry fresh coconut and produce copra – Edible and milling.
- We can also use to dry copra and reduce the moisture percentage.
- It can also be used in coconut industry to dry small cut pieces and paring pieces.
Working System
- Box Type Copra dryer is modified version of traditional copra drying system. Fire the Box Type Copra dryer machine.
- Cut coconut into two pieces and keep them in the top chamber
- Maintain the temperature around 80 to 90 degree centigrade
- Run the machine for 8 to 10 hours. keep reducing the temperature as the time progress after three to four hours maintain temperature around 80 degrees centigrade
- Check if it is dried if dried remove the outer shell and re-dry the copra for another 6 to 8 hours based on copra moisture percentage
